EMBROIDERED PHOTOGRAPH CRAFT PARTY

Spend time with your favorite memories and learn something new.

Make your special photos even more spectacular with embroidery in this two hour long party! We’ll learn the ins and outs of embroidering on surfaces like paper and photographs, basic stitches, and embroidery composition. Beginners to advanced stitchers welcome!

Due to the techniques involved, this craft party is recommended for those over the age of 13.

Materials Provided:

  • embroidery needles

  • scissors

  • embroidery floss

  • interfacing

  • threaders

  • tracing paper

  • pencils

  • awls

Please Bring:

photographs to stitch on that...

  • are on some sort of paper that can be punctured (no slides or polaroids)

  • are not one-of-a-kind originals (i’d hate for you to damage a family heirloom, especially if this is your first embroidery experience!)

THE DETAILS…

  • Craft parties need a minimum of five participants to run and each craft has a different pricing structure based on prep time and material cost. Please see above for details.

  • If you’re booking a craft party for a bunch of young makers, please note that anyone under the age of 8 years old will need parent or guardian supervision during the activity. Embroidered photograph parties are recommended for those over the age of 13. Younger kids can participate in this party but will need adult assistance.

  • Please use the request link above to schedule your craft party with me! Due to the time involved in prepping for your party, you must book at least three weeks in advance. If you’re feeling a wee bit desperate and need something sooner, please email me at rachaelmayerart@gmail.com to see if I have last minute availability.

I’m running this ship solo and while it is a dream come true, it also means that I start prepping for your craft party almost as soon as you book it. If you need to cancel, you can do so with one week’s notice of your event date and receive a full refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations made with less than one week’s notice.
